He continues to be the most experienced physician in Arizona to perform Rezum. Dr. Darson also has academic interests in the field of voiding dysfunction and currently has data submitted for publication. Interests beyond voiding dysfunction include minimally invasive techniques to treat urologic stone disease. He also is interested in all urologic oncology (urologic cancer).

Dr. Darson grew up in Columbus, Ohio, where he enjoyed most sporting activities, but especially football and basketball. He is an avid Ohio State Football fan. More recently he has been active in golf and hiking. Prior to residing in Scottsdale, he was in practice New Orleans, Louisiana.
